Tina Van Hoose was born and raised in a northwestern suburb of Cook County in Illinois. She attended Eastern Michigan University and received her bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish for secondary education. She attended Northern Illinois University to get her elementary teaching certificate in Illinois. She speaks Spanish.
She currently holds a 9-12 certificate for teaching English in Illinois and a 1-6 elementary certificate.
Her personal hobbies include reading, writing, learning, and drawing.
